Carzego Return Policy
Effective Date: August 15, 2023
1. Cooling-Off Period
Customers who purchase a car warranty from Carzego have a 30-day “cooling-off” period, beginning from the date of purchase. During this period, customers may cancel their warranty and receive a full refund, no questions asked.
2. After the Cooling-Off Period
2.1 Partial Refund
After the initial 30-day cooling-off period, customers may still cancel their warranty but will receive a prorated refund based on the remaining term of the warranty or the mileage, whichever is less. The prorated refund will be calculated based on the number of months remaining in the warranty term or the unused mileage, minus a cancellation fee of $75.
2.2 Non-Refundable
After 50% of the warranty term has passed or 50% of the allowable mileage has been used, the warranty becomes non-refundable.
3. Transfer of Warranty
Customers have the option to transfer the remaining warranty to a new owner in the event of a vehicle sale. The warranty must be transferred within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle, and both parties must notify Carzego in writing.
4. How to Cancel or Transfer Your Warranty
To cancel or transfer your warranty, please contact our Customer Service department at support@carzego.com.
You will be asked to provide:
– Warranty agreement number
– Vehicle identification number (VIN)
– Proof of purchase
– A written request for cancellation or transfer
5. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed within 30 business days following the receipt of a complete cancellation request. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
6. State Regulations
This policy is subject to state regulations. Residents of certain states may have different rights and should consult local laws for additional protections.
